My girlfriends and I went here on Friday and we ordered the garlic shrimp. It was good, however it was definitely over salted. If they cut back just a little on the salt, it would have been perfect. Overall, fair prices, good portions, and excellent service. I would recommend this place if you are craving some Mexican seafood.

I'm a Joliet native + I absolutely love mariscos & come to El Huichol whenever I get the chance. I ordered the Langostinos platter + the flavor is Nayarit style. The portions are BIG so be prepared to eat!! The pricing is fair for the amount of food they give you. The restaurant can get crowded on the weekends. They give you complimentary ceviche upon arrival :)

The food is amazing real good The staff they attend your real good just overall it's good

This is one of my favorite seafood places. The stuffed pineapple is one of my favorite dishes. They start you off with civiche while you wait for your food too! Bring cash.

I like to go here for the fish tacos. I think they are the best in the area. The portions are huge! I see a few things on the menu that I want to try but I could never eat that much. When you dine in you get complimentary ceviche and that too is probably the best in the area. Newly remodeled inside so don't let the outside fool you lol.

Great place for MARGARITAS!!! Went out with my girlfriends to celebrate my Bestfriend's birthday and our server Jairo (my apologies if it's spelled incorrectly) was awesome! He suggested the empanadas de camarón con queso & that's the first time someone asked if we want them with cheese. They were delicious & can't forget the margaritas were just amazing as well! Will definitely come back again

This place is great for your seafood fix. The spicy for me was tolerable. I definitely would eat here again. The waitresses were attentive. Plenty of parking available. They are a cash only place. So bring cash. If not they have an atm...womp womp.
